CUMREC 2005, Achieving New Heights | May 15-18, Keystone Colorado

Invitation to CUMREC 2005

The CUMREC conference offers many opportunities to further your professional development through general plenary sessions, presentations by peers, the latest offerings from our corporate partners, and information sharing and gathering. The greatest benefit, however, is gained from networking with your peers. The connections you make at CUMREC continue to reap benefits year after year.

A great way to build your network is working side by side with peers organizing the CUMREC conference. The conference is directed by your peers, who volunteer their time through committee involvement. The challenge, sense of belonging, and satisfaction of helping put together another successful conference are just part of the experience of getting involved in CUMREC. You’ll find that in addition to the satisfaction of putting on the annual conference, you’ll meet people you can call on for information, advice, or a fresh perspective.

Many opportunities exist for you to participate in CUMREC. The Moderator Program, along with the Communications and Development committees, need volunteers to share the work and keep the organization running. Volunteers are selected shortly after each annual conference to meet the needs of each committee for the upcoming year. Committee members typically serve for two years to blend continuity with fresh ideas and insights. Moderators are contacted each year just prior to the conference and assist our speakers as they create a quality program.

If you’d like specifics about what it means to be a committee member, stop by the Development Committee booth during the CUMREC conference or contact a committee member. We welcome your interest.
